Kagawa Olive Guyners to Host Home Games Wearing Pink Uniforms Designed by High School Students (May 23-24)

The Kagawa Olive Guyners will host home games at the Rexxam Ballpark Marugame for two days on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026. As a featured project this season, the players will play both games wearing original pink uniforms designed by students of Otemae Takamatsu High School during their exploratory learning class, "Guyners Exploration." This uniform was born from the students' desire for "female customers to enjoy baseball more." Originally designed with the aim of being worn at a Mother's Day game, it is now being realized at the May home games, the month of Mother's Day. The professional baseball team adopted the earnest design of the high school students just as it was—behind this lies a genuine connection nurtured between the team and the local high school. ◼️ Otemae Takamatsu High School Design Pink Uniform Wearing DAY At Otemae Takamatsu High School, classes are held to explore the appeal of the local team, the Kagawa Olive Guyners. Last year, the theme the students tackled in this class was "How can we get female customers to enjoy watching baseball more?" The pink uniform was born as one of the answers. Under the concept of "If there is a game on Mother's Day, we want to deliver the uniform like a present," the students continuously worked on the design, and the team adopted their work directly as the official uniform. Although a game on Mother's Day itself did not happen this season, the players will stand on the field in May wearing uniforms carrying the students' sentiments. The home game on Saturday, May 23, is sponsored in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Coop Kagawa. Starting from this day, for two days, the players will wear the pink uniforms designed by the Otemae Takamatsu High School students.
