[Kawasaki Nikko Hotel] "Summer Fest 2026" to Energize the Region with Local Businesses, Held August 1 (Sat) & 2 (Sun)

Kawasaki Nikko Hotel (Location: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture / General Manager: Kuniyuki Nishi) will open its banquet halls as a summer festival venue for two days, August 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun), 2026, to hold the "Summer Fest 2026" event where visitors can enjoy the charm of the region.

Food Court & Festival Booths

This event, now in its 13th year, collaborates with local companies and organizations to offer a variety of attractions enjoyable for all ages.

Two venues will be set up on the day. The Food Court & Stage Floor will feature "Kawasaki x Hotel Gourmet Summer Festival Menu" as its theme, selling dishes using Kawasaki-produced ingredients and collaboration menus with popular local eateries. Offerings include omelets made with local Kawasaki eggs and roast beef made with domestic beef, as well as regional specialties such as shrimp chili sauce supervised by the renowned Kawasaki restaurant "Chuka Ryori SeiKi" and kimchi from "Otsukemono Kei." Additionally, a Happy Hour will be held from 2:00 PM onwards. This includes all-you-can-drink draft beer and highballs, an advantageous tasting set of craft beer from Kawasaki's own "Kagiya Brewery," Spanish cured ham "Jamon Serrano" carved by the chef, and limited quantities of "Chuka Ryori SeiKi" shumai, offering a lineup that adults can also enjoy.

The stage will feature performances such as hula dancing, hip-hop, and musical performances by local teams. Furthermore, a "Kids' Pastry Chef Experience" will be held, allowing children to try making sweets with the hotel's pastry chefs, supporting children in creating summer vacation memories.

The Festival Booth & Experience Floor will offer traditional festival games like super ball scooping, shooting games, and ring toss, in addition to workshops by local companies and organizations. Activities such as original can badge making, metal spinning experience, and insect visor creation are available, which can also be useful for summer vacation free study projects.

Kids' Pastry Chef Experience "Easy! Summer Strawberry Roll Cake Making" (Limited spots, reservation required) Challenge making a roll cake with the hotel's pastry chefs. After spreading cream on the sponge and rolling in strawberries to finish, take a commemorative photo wearing a pastry chef's uniform.
