Hotel Nikko Himeji to Host Dinner Event 'GLAMPING STYLE DINING' in August

Hotel Nikko Himeji (located in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture; General Manager: Tetsu Kataoka) will host a dinner event titled 'GLAMPING STYLE DINING' for six limited days only at its grand banquet hall 'Kourin' on August 11 (Tue, Holiday)–13 (Thu) and August 17 (Mon)–19 (Wed), 2026. Reservations will open starting July 1 (Wed) at 13:00.

For this event, a tarp will be installed in the grand banquet hall, which features an 8-meter-high ceiling, transforming the space into a glamorous camping-inspired atmosphere. Seating for up to six guests will be arranged under the tarp, where guests can enjoy chef-curated cuisine in the comfortable environment unique to a hotel.

The set-course menu, served by professional service staff, features seasonal ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture such as 'Kobe Pork and Seasonal Vegetable Brochette,' 'Conger Eel Fritters & French Fries,' and 'Ibonoito Somen'—a renowned local specialty from the Harima region. At the live kitchen station, guests can savor freshly grilled dishes including 'Wagyu Beef Steak' and 'Grilled Scallop,' as well as freshly prepared tuna served as sashimi or donburi.
