Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport, directly connected to Kansai International Airport, will hold the 'Senshu Onion and Selected Beef Roast Beef Buffet' at its all-day dining restaurant 'The Brasserie' from June 1 (Mon) to August 2 (Sun), 2026. In this fair, guests can enjoy a variety of dishes using 'Senshu onions,' a branded ingredient from the local Senshu region, which is also certified as an Osaka product and is currently in its peak season. Senshu onions are known as the birthplace of Japanese onions, characterized by their high water content, sweetness, and thick, tender texture. Taking advantage of the fact that they become sweeter when cooked, the menu includes 'Senshu Onion Gratin Soup' and 'Senshu Onion Mousse with Marinated Red Shrimp.' Furthermore, at the open kitchen, guests can enjoy 'Awa Black Beef Roast Beef' with various condiments. For dessert, guests can enjoy menus incorporating the flavor of Senshu onions, such as 'Dark Cherry and Senshu Onion Confiture Tart' and 'Lemon-scented Senshu Onion Gateau Chocolat.' Additionally, in June, as the hotel celebrates its 31st anniversary, events such as 'Senshu Onion Stuffing' from Iteya Farm in Izumisano City and gifts of sablé cookies printed with the hotel's official character 'Kankuma' are prepared to express gratitude.
