Hotel Nikko Nara (8-1 Sanjohonmachi, Nara City, Nara Prefecture; General Manager: Takayuki Kanesada) will sell an accommodation plan including tickets to the special exhibition "Buddhist Paintings of Nanto: The Beauty of Nara Tenpyo Reborn," jointly organized with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and held at the Nara National Museum starting Saturday, July 18, 2026. The plan will be available for purchase from Monday, May 18, to Saturday, September 12, 2026.

This exhibition is an international joint project realized after approximately 20 years of conceptualization by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Nara National Museum. It is the first attempt to trace the history of "Buddhist Paintings of Nanto" (Nara) by bringing home a collection of Buddhist paintings related to Nanto from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and displaying them alongside select Buddhist paintings and statues from Japan, including those owned by the Nara National Museum. Furthermore, it is a rare opportunity to see famous paintings and statues associated with the legendary, now-lost temple Uchiyama Eikyu-ji gathered in one place.

This accommodation plan includes the exhibition ticket as well as an original "Shuishu (Contemplative Hand) Holographic Rainbow Sticker" from the popular Nara stationery shop "coto mono," which guests can take home as a memento of their trip.
