[Hotel Okura Fukuoka] Special Event Themed Around "Cherry Blossoms" to be Held from March 27

Hotel Okura Fukuoka (Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City / Representative Director and President Ryota Sugiyama) will offer various programs to let guests feel the arrival of spring, including cherry blossom-themed flower arrangements and limited-time menus, from Friday, March 27 to Thursday, April 30, 2026.

During this period, a massive cherry blossom flower arrangement, standing approximately 6 meters tall and 5 meters wide, will be displayed in the lobby. This cherry blossom installation is an art flower piece created in conjunction with the "Fukuoka Flower Show 2026" held in Fukuoka City. During the event, it was installed at the front entrance of the Hakataza theater, which is adjacent to Hotel Okura Fukuoka, bringing an early sign of spring to many visitors. From Friday, March 27, the flower arrangement will be relocated to the hotel lobby, where you can continue to view the cherry blossoms in full bloom. This art flower piece was crafted by Hakataza's stage setup staff, utilizing skills cultivated through stage set production. A highlight of this piece is the impact and expressiveness unique to stage art that cannot usually be seen up close. As a special collaboration connecting Fukuoka's culture and the beauty of the season, you can enjoy a more glamorous and one-of-a-kind space.

Furthermore, a "Cherry Blossom Stroll MAP" introducing famous cherry blossom spots around the hotel is available. It features locations within walking distance, such as Reisen Park and Tenjin Central Park, allowing you to enjoy moments feeling the unique spring of Fukuoka both inside and outside the facility.

The restaurant will offer menus where you can savor the tastes of spring.

The "Heralding Spring: Cherry Blossom and Strawberry Afternoon Tea Set" features a selection of sweets such as strawberry macarons and mousse, shortcake, and cherry blossom mousse with strawberry gelee. For savories, a menu incorporating seasonal elements is prepared, including cherry blossom cream wrapped in gyuhi, strawberry and camembert cheese sandwiches, roasted new potatoes, and spring cabbage and clams in a peperoncino style. You can enjoy these alongside various drinks, including highly fragrant black tea.

In addition, a new cocktail, "Sakura Frozen," makes its appearance, harmonizing the gorgeous aroma of cherry blossom liqueur, the mellow richness of yogurt liqueur, and the tartness of lime. The pale cherry blossom-colored frozen drink will color your spring bar time even more brilliantly.

Also, as takeout items, sweets such as "Sakura Anpan," which wraps sweet bean paste kneaded with salted cherry leaves and spreads a subtle salty taste and aroma, and "SAKURA," a cake combining cherry blossom puree and coarse sweet bean paste mousse on a sable dough kneaded with cherry leaves, will be offered.
