Takako Tokiwa Profile

Born in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. She rose to fame in 1995 with the drama "Aishiteiru to Itte Kure" (Tell Me You Love Me) and became a sensation in 2000 with "Beautiful Life," earning her the title "Queen of TV Dramas." She starred as Miyako Mikami (Sawafuji) in the drama series "Kyoto-jin no Hisoka na Tanoshimi" and is active in various fields including films, stage, commercials, dramas, and narration. Since 2021, she has appeared on the TV program "Kyoto Gahou," promoting the charms of Kyoto. In 2023, she was appointed as a Kyoto Prefecture Cultural Tourism Ambassador.
