"Hotel JAL City Aomori" (Location: Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture; General Manager: Saori Hayama) will renew the breakfast buffet at Restaurant La Sera starting Monday, April 13, 2026. With the addition of 30 new items, including original menus featuring vegetables grown in Aomori Prefecture, a total of 80 items will be offered in a buffet style.
With this renewal, we aimed to have guests experience the food culture and climate of Aomori, making the breakfast itself a special part of their journey.
While keeping the popular Aomori local specialties and regional dishes, we have added 30 new items, such as menus and sweets richly utilizing Aomori-grown vegetables, bringing the total to 80 buffet items. For local and regional dishes, we offer "Niboshi (Dried Sardine) Ramen," "Aomori Seafood Platter," "Mutsu Bay Scallop Curry," "Hachinohe Senbei Jiru," and "Aomori Oden." Furthermore, the restaurant's interior has been renovated with a monotone base, incorporating Aomori crafts throughout. By expanding the buffet area and increasing the number of seats, it has been reborn into a space where guests can comfortably enjoy their meals.
New Buffet Corner: "Aomori's Seasonal Harvest from the Earth" At the newly established "Aomori's Seasonal Harvest from the Earth" corner, we have prepared dishes with light flavors using seasonal vegetables so that guests who prefer a quick breakfast or want to recover from the previous day's fatigue can enjoy them. Original menus such as warm vegetables topped with "Aomori Salted Squid Bagna Cauda Sauce," "Colorful Vegetable Terrine" using fresh vegetables, and "Keno-strone," a Western-style arrangement of Aomori's local dish, will be available. With seasonal flavors unique to our hotel, which values connections with local producers, we deliver a gentle moment to condition your body at the start of the day.
