Announcement of Renewal Opening of "HESTA RESORT IZU"

HESTA RESORT IZU (Location: 145-1 Okawa, Higashi-Izu Town, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture), operated by Okura Club & Hotels Co., Ltd., a group company of HESTA Okura Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Katsumi Hirosawa), will grand open on July 13, 2026 (Mon) under a new concept following facility renovations.

Renewal Concept

"A resort where every moment spent here becomes a journey"

While the magnificent location overlooking Sagami Bay remains, the interior design and stay style have been completely renewed.

The space has been reborn to allow all guests to cherish "time to spend as they please" while feeling closer to nature.

Main Points of Renewal

1 Creating an open space connected to nature

The interior has been rebuilt with a calm Japanese modern taste as its base, with a spatial design that utilizes soft light and textures.

We have created a stay environment where you can feel the sea, sky, and the nature of Izu more intimately.

2 A new stay style to enjoy "spending time"

We have improved the usability of the lobby and public spaces so that guests can enjoy their time during their stay.

We aim to be a "hotel with ample space" where guests can spend their time as they wish from check-in to check-out.

3 Rooms that cater to diverse accommodation needs

The room configurations have been updated to accommodate various scenarios, such as families, couples, and groups.

Both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms have been improved for comfort, creating a more relaxing space.

4 Introduction of new experiential content

This renewal introduces unprecedented new experiential value to make stays more enjoyable. At the entrance, we have newly established "HESTA Wellness Garden ~Outdoor Lounge~ (tentative name)" where you can enjoy an outdoor atmosphere while staying at the hotel.

Additionally, in some parts of the hotel, we have created private "HESTA Wellness Garden ~Indoor Camp Lounge~ (tentative name)" spaces where you can enjoy a camping experience in a private setting.

We propose a new style of stay that allows you to experience the charm of the outdoors regardless of the weather.

Furthermore, we plan to develop RV parks in the future to meet the needs of overnight stays in vehicles and outdoor travel,

and will evolve into a facility that caters to even more diverse travel styles.

Future Development

Starting with this renewal, HESTA RESORT IZU will also work to create new accommodation value utilizing regional resources and promote the appeal of the entire Izu area.

We will continue to improve our services and expand our experiential value to remain "a place you want to visit again."
