Okayama University Holds Joint Briefing and Recreation Event for SDGs Ambassadors
Okayama University hosted a joint briefing session and a recreation event for SDGs Ambassadors on its Tsushima Campus in April 2026. A total of six organizations actively involved as ambassadors participated in the briefing session: "SDGs Ambassador Operations Department," "Okayama University TABLE FOR TWO," "Frontier School," "Copain," "Global Project," and "Nature." Following an icebreaker, an overview of the SDGs Ambassadors and an introduction to each organization's activities were provided. Through watching promotional videos and participating in group quizzes, participants deepened their interaction and gained specific knowledge about the activities. After the briefing session, time was allocated for interaction with each organization, providing an opportunity to further understand groups of interest. On the day, in addition to new students, many current students from their second year and above also participated, making it an enjoyable event that deepened their understanding of SDGs Ambassador activities.
Furthermore, a "Recreation Event" was held on April 19 at Okayama University's General Education Building. On this day, members of the organizations introduced at the briefing session and participants collectively engaged in games such as SDGs quizzes, fostering closer ties. After the event, there was time for interaction with organizations of interest, allowing participants to learn about SDGs Ambassadors and the activities of each group through this event as well.
Through these "SDGs Ambassador Joint Briefing Session and Recreation Event," we hope to further promote the participation of new and current students, as well as the exchange among the various organizations.
