Students worked on creating a sales data analysis model utilizing Google Gemini. Through exercises using actual data, participating students learned the basics of AI and data analysis, including data organization and derivation of analysis results. The second session, "Introduction to Data Analyst," was held on February 13, with Ms. Risako Abe from dotData, Inc. serving as the instructor. The course provided practical learning in the basics of business analytics, AI-powered data analysis, and policy formulation based on analysis results. Students worked on visualizing sales data and creating predictive models, and during the final presentation, they received feedback from Chugoku Bank Financial Group, providing an opportunity to refine their proposals from a regional business perspective. The third session, "Introduction to Data-Driven Consulting," was held from February 16 to 17, welcoming Mr. Masahiko Jinno from Ascent Business Consulting Co., Ltd. as an instructor. Participating students practically learned data-driven decision-making and consulting thinking by analyzing management issues using actual data and working on strategy formulation. Through each session, students systematically learned from the basics to advanced applications of data visualization, data analysis, and AI utilization. They deepened their practical knowledge while gaining exposure to data-based analysis and decision-making, which are increasingly demanded in various fields. Participating students commented, "The process of analyzing data and forming hypotheses was practical and educational," and "My understanding of how AI and data analysis are utilized in the real world deepened." This course was implemented as an initiative to provide practical learning opportunities through collaboration among universities, companies, and regional financial institutions.
