The renowned New York steakhouse "Benjamin Steakhouse" (Operated in Japan by: Oizumi Foods Co., Ltd., Headquarters: Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, CEO: Kenji Oizumi) will offer special Mother's Day desserts at Benjamin Steakhouse Kyoto and KITTE Osaka locations for two days only, on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026.

In this project, for Mother's Day, we have prepared this dessert under the theme of "conveying everyday gratitude to mothers infused into the moments after a meal." As a dish that beautifully concludes the lingering finish of a steak course, it produces a time that remains in memory, not just in taste, and richly colors the moments spent with loved ones.

At the Osaka location, we have prepared a new sensation apple pie, the "Cold Apple Pie," which combines light-melting Italian meringue, rich custard with American-style bourbon whiskey, cider gelee with a refreshing acidity, compote that brings out the sweet aroma of fruits, and sliced apple chips with pie crust. While evoking a sense of nostalgia rooted in the apple pie culture loved in American households, it is reconstructed modernly, offering an expanding contrast of taste and texture with every bite.

At the Kyoto location, we have prepared the "Mother's Red Tart with Carnation," which consists of densely baked, butter-scented tart dough filled with rich custard cream, lavishly topped with raspberries, blueberries, and cherries, and finished with a carnation. You can enjoy the changing flavors created by the rich layers of the sweet custard and the acidity and juiciness of the fruits.

A dish suitable for the special day of Mother's Day. Going beyond just a meal, you can deliver your everyday feelings for your precious mother in a tangible form as a "place to convey gratitude."

About Benjamin Steakhouse

"Benjamin Steakhouse" is an authentic renowned steakhouse founded in Manhattan in 2006 by Benjamin Prelvukaj and Benjamin Sinanaj, who gained experience at a long-established steakhouse in Brooklyn, New York, along with chef Arturo McLeod, who wielded his skills as a steak master there for about 20 years.
