A pioneer of 'Local Production for Local Consumption' particular about Yamagata ingredients brings popular Yamagata vegetables from Oisix to Kit Oisix
To maximize the flavor of ingredients, Chef Okuda personally visits production areas, understanding the background of the ingredients and the thoughts of the producers to create his dishes. He broadly promotes local ingredients from his hometown to the world, leading to regional revitalization. His highly original cuisine, born from fresh, simple, and speedy cooking that makes the most of natural flavors, is highly evaluated not only domestically but also overseas.
With the desire to deliver an experience like traveling across Japan at the dining table, Oisix has been offering popular local flavors from all 47 prefectures in easy-to-eat 'bowl' menus since December 2025. Now, in collaboration with Chef Okuda, who knows Yamagata's ingredients inside out, we have completed a collaboration menu using 'local' Yamagata vegetables that have long been loved by Oisix customers.
