Oisix ra daichi Inc. (Representative Director and President: Kohei Takashima, hereinafter 'Oisix ra daichi'), a provider of food subscription services, and Integriculture Inc. (Representative Director and CEO: Yuki Hanyu, hereinafter 'Integriculture') signed a joint development agreement on January 22, 2026, for the purpose of 'developing and evaluating culinary dishes using cellular food (*1) produced by utilizing Niigata Prefecture's food resources.' Furthermore, in March 2026, Integriculture decided to participate in the 'Niigata Food Tech Town Initiative,' promoted by Oisix ra daichi and the NSG Group (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture). By fusing the strengths of both companies, they aim to create one of the world's few 'regionally branded cellular food products' that utilizes Niigata's rich food resources.

Background of the Joint Development Agreement and Integriculture's Participation in the 'Niigata Food Tech Town Initiative'

Currently, as efforts toward the social implementation of cellular agriculture (*2) progress, we believe it is important for cellular food not to be viewed merely as food produced by new technology, but to create a context for it as food preferred by consumers, and to generate added value. With the signing of this joint development agreement and Integriculture's participation in the 'Niigata Food Tech Town Initiative,' both companies will leverage their respective food tech technologies and marketing know-how to examine the potential for 'Niigata brand' cellular food products that incorporate local produce. Through this, we will advance efforts toward the development of high-value-added cellular food products that carry a story including the charm of the Niigata region.

(*1 Cellular food: Food ingredients created by cultivating cells collected from livestock, fish, etc. Sometimes referred to as cell-cultured food or cultured meat (fish).) (*2 Cellular agriculture: An industry that creates food and resources by cultivating animal or plant cells.)

・Integriculture's role: Prototype production of cellular food and evaluation of prototypes. ・Oisix ra daichi's role: Menu development using cellular food prototypes, product prototyping, and evaluation of prototypes.

Future Outlook

In 2026, we will proceed with the development of Niigata-brand cellular food products, and we plan to design a concrete schedule for development in April 2026.
