Oisix La Daichi Certified as Supporting Company for Niigata Prefecture's "R10 Project" Accelerating Efforts to Improve Food Self-Sufficiency in Accordance with Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement with Niigata Prefecture

Food subscription service provider Oisix La Daichi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kohei Takashima; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has been certified as a supporting company for Niigata Prefecture's "R10 Project" (hereinafter "R10 Project") as of April 10, 2026.

The Company signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Niigata Prefecture on April 3rd of this year. Participation in this project is one of the collaboration items, aimed at "promoting the sales of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products from the prefecture."

Through product development and sales on "Oisix," and through stadium planning and stadium gourmet development/supervision for the "Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club" (hereinafter "Albirex BC"), for which the Company is the main sponsor, we will accelerate concrete actions towards improving Japan's food self-sufficiency rate.

What is an "R10 Project" Supporting Company? Niigata Prefecture is promoting the "R10 Project," which aims to replace more than 10% of imported wheat flour with domestic rice flour, in order to improve Japan's food self-sufficiency rate, which is at one of the lowest levels among major developed countries (FY Reiwa 6: 38% on a calorie basis (*)).

This project has three main pillars: 1) Development of large-scale demanders, 2) Development of a wide range of demand, and 3) Promotion of widespread use in households. Companies and organizations that agree with the purpose of this project and actively promote the use and appeal of rice flour will be certified as "R10 Project Supporting Companies."

The Company, along with Niigata Professional Baseball Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; President and CEO: Takushi Ikeda), which jointly operates Albirex BC, has been certified as a supporting company for this project. Future Initiatives The Company will contribute to the development of new demand for rice flour by developing and releasing rice flour products on "Oisix" and by supervising/developing stadium gourmet at Albirex BC, which it co-manages.

[Expansion on Oisix] The Company's food delivery service "Oisix" has previously developed and sold the product "Fluffy Busse" using rice flour from Niigata Prefecture. As a new product, starting Thursday, April 16, 2026, they will release "Niigata Nagaoka Specialty! Soy Sauce Ramen with a Hint of Ginger," made with rice flour from Niigata Prefecture. This product is themed around Nagaoka Ginger Soy Sauce Ramen, one of Niigata's five major ramen types, allowing customers to enjoy the local taste without traveling to Niigata. The noodles use rice flour from Niigata Prefecture, and you can enjoy a chewy texture with a ginger-infused, MSG-free ramen soup.

[Initiatives with Oixx Niigata Albirex Baseball Club] To date, Albirex BC has worked to raise awareness of rice flour, such as by featuring Niigata Prefecture's rice flour PR character "Komepanman" and selling the "Fluffy Busse" product released on Oisix at the stadium.

Going forward, we will further collaborate with Albirex BC to develop new rice flour menu items and promote them, adding a "delicious rice flour experience" to the fun of watching baseball, thereby accelerating the expansion of rice flour consumption, which Niigata boasts to the world, and contributing to the improvement of the regional community's food self-sufficiency rate.
