Oisix.la.dochi Inc. (Representative Director and President: Kohei Takashima, hereinafter referred to as Oisix.la.dochi), a provider of subscription services for food, and IntegriCulture Inc. (Representative Director and CEO: Yuki Hanyu, hereinafter referred to as IntegriCulture) have entered into a joint development agreement on January 22, 2026, with the objective of "developing and evaluating dishes using cultured food (※1) produced utilizing Niigata Prefecture's food resources." Furthermore, in March 2026, IntegriCulture decided to participate in the "Niigata Food Tech Town Concept" promoted by Oisix.la.dochi and NSG Group (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture). By merging the strengths of both companies, they aim to create one of the world's few "regionally branded cultured foods" that leverage Niigata's abundant food resources.

Background of the Joint Development Agreement and IntegriCulture's Participation in the "Niigata Food Tech Town Concept"

Currently, as initiatives for the social implementation of cellular agriculture (※2) progress, we believe that for cultured foods, it is important not only to position them as food from new technology but also to create a context where they are preferred by consumers and to generate added value. With the signing of this joint development agreement and IntegriCulture's participation in the "Niigata Food Tech Town Concept" as a catalyst, both companies will leverage their respective food tech technologies and marketing know-how to explore the potential of "Niigata Brand" cultured foods by combining local products. Through this, we will advance efforts towards the development of high-value-added cultured foods with stories that include the charm of Niigata's local region.
