Open House Architect Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Mitsuo Nagai), a group company of Open House Group Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Ryosuke Fukuoka), will begin utilizing the "Heatstroke Safety Check Function" at detached house construction sites from July 1 (Wed), leveraging the entry/exit data from its in-house developed construction management app, "Architect Jump," in anticipation of this summer's record-breaking heat.
Delayed detection of heatstroke is a serious issue for the entire industry, not only at large construction sites but also at detached house construction sites. Therefore, Open House Architect has developed a system that links with the entry/exit records in the app used daily by craftsmen, conducting automatic safety checks three times a day for workers present at the site. Since reporting is completed with simple operations that do not require text input in response to notifications, it allows for integrated management from entry/exit to heatstroke checks as an extension of daily operations, without increasing the input workload at the site. The system will remotely protect the safety of craftsmen and promote "On-site DX" to prepare for heatstroke risks by notifying supervisors when there is no response.
Unique Features and Strengths of the "Heatstroke Safety Check Function"
By eliminating hurdles such as increased workload for craftsmen and the introduction of expensive dedicated devices, and by applying the mechanism of the existing construction management app "Architect Jump," which boasts a real-time update rate of 99% within the company, it can be introduced naturally within the existing workflow, achieving smooth site adoption. For partner companies, it also offers the advantage of covering everything from entry/exit to safety checks simply by registering craftsmen in the system, making it highly effective for labor management.
Automated Workflow
A smooth workflow is established through the sequence of Notification ➔ Automated Voice Navigation Dial ➔ Notification to Supervisor.
1 Real-time Linkage with "Entry/Exit Data"
When a craftsman records "Entry" on the smartphone app upon arrival at the site, the system automatically determines "who is currently present at which site."
2 Targeted Automatic Safety Checks Three Times Daily for Those Present
Instead of a mass broadcast to everyone, safety checks are automatically sent directly to the smartphones of craftsmen currently on-site, three times a day. (Note: The number of times and times can be set on the management screen).
3 Safety Management with "Zero Burden" for Both Craftsmen and Supervisors
If there are no health issues, craftsmen only need to tap a button in response to the notification, with no additional burden of inputting health status. If they feel unwell, they can immediately contact their supervisor, preventing heatstroke. If there is no response to the automated voice call, a notification is sent to the responsible site supervisor, enabling immediate phone contact.
Features of the Construction Management Platform "Architect Jump" Series
The construction management app "Architect Jump" and the web system "Architect Jump Pro" provide a mechanism for all stakeholders, including carpenters, craftsmen, partner companies, internal staff, and even real estate developers, to share site information in real-time.
Key Features
・Real-time Sharing of Progress, Schedules, and Photos: Stakeholders can instantly view information, eliminating information lag and improving business decision-making speed.
・Productivity Improvement through Centralized Management: Even for large projects with multiple buildings, schedules and quality can be grasped collectively, reducing the effort of reporting tasks and achieving de-personalization.
・Consideration for Ease of Use: With bar chart-style schedule displays, a simple UI, and smartphone optimization, it provides a smooth operating environment for anyone, anytime.
