Open House Group Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Ryosuke Fukuoka, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") announces that on March 27, 2026, it will make a donation of 390 million yen to support the regional co-creation projects undertaken by Otofuke Town (Mayor: Shinji Ono), Hokkaido. This donation, combined with the donation in FY2024, will bring the total to 400 million yen. This will contribute to the further development of regional co-creation projects and the success of various development projects in Otofuke Town, and we will continue to dedicate ourselves to regional co-creation centered in the Hokkaido Tokachi region.
To support regional co-creation in Hokkaido, centered in the Tokachi region, our Group launched the [Regional Co-creation "Hokkaido/Tokachi Vision 2030 (tentative name)"] in December 2024, with the aim of donating and investing a total of 10 billion yen by 2030. As part of this initiative, in February 2025, an agreement was signed at the Otofuke Town Hall, Hokkaido, to donate a total of 1 billion yen by FY2028 to support projects such as the Tokachigawa Onsen regional revitalization project undertaken by Otofuke Town, Hokkaido. Furthermore, in April 2025, a donation of 1 billion yen was made to Obihiro City (Mayor: Norihisa Yonezawa), Hokkaido, as a corporate version of Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation).
Hokkaido is a land blessed with a rich food culture nurtured amidst beautiful nature, and full of charm with its culture and history, captivating people both domestically and internationally. On the other hand, economic and social disparities between urban and rural areas within the prefecture have become an issue, and depopulation is advancing in rural areas, influenced by an aging population and declining birthrates. In such regions, our Group aims to create jobs, attract residents and tourists, and realize a sustainable society by leveraging the knowledge gained in Gunma Prefecture and developing regional co-creation projects.
