As this product is a high-priced model in the 30,000-yen range, the company is introducing its first-ever rental service to meet user demand to 'try it first.' We want to allow users to more easily experience this product, which applies safety technology cultivated in the development of bicycle child seats to pets, thereby alleviating pre-purchase anxiety and supporting a more confident choice.

'HUG Buddy': Safety Design that Protects a Precious Family Member by Applying Child Safety Technology to Pets
The 'HUG Buddy' adopts a unique structure that fixes inside the bicycle's handlebars, unlike conventional front-basket types. This allows you to check on your pet from a close distance as if you were hugging them, providing peace of mind while riding. The lid design allows pets to stick their faces out while ensuring safety, letting them enjoy the scenery with their owner. The attachment uses our proprietary mechanism, combining strong fixation with easy one-touch removal. It is the first pet carrier designed (*2) to switch smoothly from bicycle travel to walking on foot with this single backpack.

We consider pets to be important family members and started developing pet products in 2023, wanting to apply the technology and know-how for protecting children's safety, cultivated in bicycle child seat development, to pets as well. Although there is a need for bicycle transportation with pets for vet visits or trips to large parks for walks, there were few products that considered the loading and safety on bicycles.
