In Tottori Prefecture, following the phased introduction of educational activities utilizing one device per student at prefectural schools from FY2022, the "Tottori Prefecture Board of Education GIGA School Operation Support Center" was established to enhance support for basic operations of tablets, related equipment, and various applications used by students and teachers in classes. Furthermore, to cope with the accelerating digitalization of education, the "Educational DX Promotion Division" was newly established within the Tottori Prefecture Education Center in FY2023 to integrally manage the promotion of ICT utilization, hardware maintenance, and security management. In FY2024, the "Tottori Prefecture School Education DX Promotion Plan" was formulated. Aiming to foster human resources with the qualities and abilities to proactively utilize information and become creators of a sustainable society, efforts are underway to improve teachers' instructional abilities using ICT and enrich foundation maintenance, driving educational DX forward.
