Odakyu SC Development Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuichiro Hosoya; hereinafter "the Company") announces that it has donated books, toys, and other items to seven municipalities along the Odakyu Line, following the implementation of the "Machichika, Hitochika Project Phase 4 'Re:born'" at eight commercial facilities along the Odakyu Line from October 17, 2025 (Fri) to November 24, 2025 (Mon, public holiday). This initiative was conducted under the Company's regional coexistence statement, "Ekichika: Towards Machichika and Hitochika."
During this project, a total of 19,641 unwanted items were collected from customers via collection boxes placed at each facility. The collected items were appraised by Bookoff Corporation, student uniform reuse shop Sakura-ya, and REGATE Co., Ltd. The proceeds from the appraisal were converted into 534 gifts, selected based on requests from the seven municipalities along the Odakyu Line, focusing on themes such as "support for child-rearing" and "solving regional issues." Additionally, charity events held at five commercial facilities contributed their full participation fees toward the purchase of these gifts.
This initiative was advanced in collaboration with various partners: Odakyu Building Service Co., Ltd. supported the collection of unwanted items and distributed free emergency drinking water, while Kakuyasu Co., Ltd. conducted on-site used cooking oil collection and sold beverages in returnable bottles at two locations—Kyodai Court and Seijo Court. Moving forward, the Company will continue working with the entire community toward achieving the "Odakyu Group Carbon Neutral 2050" goal.
The next "Re:born" unwanted item collection campaign is scheduled for around September 2026. To clearly demonstrate its commitment to addressing environmental challenges through business activities and community engagement, the Company established the environmental statement "Connecting People, Towns, and Earth in Blue." Based on this statement, the Company will continue advancing initiatives aimed at realizing a circular society, including this project.

2. Background of the Project
The Odakyu Group aims to become a "region-value-creating enterprise" that grows together with local communities. To realize this vision, the Company established the regional coexistence statement "Ekichika: Towards Machichika and Hitochika," and continues to co-create and launch new initiatives with various regional stakeholders to contribute to society.
This project is the fourth initiative launched to embody the regional coexistence statement and contribute to the future of local communities. To support "child-rearing" and "solving regional issues" in the seven municipalities where the Company's commercial facilities are located, the project collected unwanted household items from customers and converted their appraised value into gifts.
