Strengthening Safety Measures
1. Installation of Platform Doors Platform doors will begin operation at Kyodo Station and Izumi-Tamagawa Station.
2. Seismic Reinforcement and Other Works We will carry out seismic reinforcement work for railway facilities such as bridges, station buildings, and elevated tracks, as well as slope renovation work.
Improving Services
1. Construction of New Commuter Train "Series 5000" One 10-car train set and two 8-car train sets will be newly constructed.
2. Renewal of Commuter Train "Series 3000" Three 6-car train sets will be renewed.
3. Design of New Romancecar Rolling Stock Detailed design will be carried out.
4. Station Renovation Work Station renovation work will be carried out at Shinjuku Station, Tsurukawa Station, and Fujisawa Station.
Building a Sustainable Operating System
1. Relocation Plan for Ohno General Rolling Stock Center We will secure land and conduct detailed design for the development of a new general rolling stock center.
2. Work for One-Man Operation We will carry out vehicle modification work necessary for one-man operation.
3. Consolidation of Signal Handling Operations We will carry out work to gradually consolidate signal handling operations at stations and depots into the Transportation Command Center.

1. Installation of Platform Doors To prevent passengers from falling from platforms or coming into contact with trains, we will utilize subsidies from the "Railway Station Barrier-Free Fare System" and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Emergency Measures for Accelerating Platform Door Installation" to begin operation of platform doors on all platforms at Kyodo Station and Izumi-Tamagawa Station within this fiscal year.

2. Seismic Reinforcement and Other Works In preparation for intensifying natural disasters, we will proceed with seismic reinforcement work on the "JR Sagami Line Overpass" between Ebina and Atsugi stations and on elevated tracks between Umegaoka and Noborito stations. Additionally, seismic reinforcement work will be carried out on platform roofs at Yomiuri-Land-mae Station, Sobudai-mae Station, Zama Station, and Shin-Matsuda Station. Furthermore, between Fujisawa-Honmachi and Fujisawa stations, slope renovation work will be carried out to prevent damage from rainfall and earthquakes. The repainting of deteriorated coatings on the "Sakawa River Bridge" between Shin-Matsuda and Kaisei stations, which has been continuously carried out to extend the lifespan of structures, will be completed this fiscal year.

1. Construction of New Commuter Train "Series 5000" One 10-car train set and two 8-car train sets of the commuter train "Series 5000" will be newly constructed. The interior features large reinforced glass for partition doors between cars, luggage racks, and side partitions next to seats to enhance the sense of spaciousness and brightness. Additionally, ceiling-embedded LED lighting creates an expansive interior space. Furthermore, all cars are equipped with spaces for wheelchair and stroller users, and security cameras are installed to create a safer and more secure in-car environment.

2. Renewal of Commuter Train "Series 3000" Three 6-car train sets will be renewed, and all cars will be equipped with spaces for wheelchair and stroller users, making them accessible to everyone. The installed security cameras have a function to confirm images in real-time from remote locations such as the Transportation Command Center, enabling quick response and accurate situation assessment in emergencies.

3. Design of New Romancecar Rolling Stock The new Romancecar (Series 80000), positioned as a replacement for the Limited Express Romancecar EXE (Series 30000) and a successor to the VSE (Series 50000), will undergo detailed design for its service launch in March 2029. We aim to realize a high-quality riding experience that responds to diverse usage scenarios and harmonizes with the rich natural scenery along the line, while pursuing future customer needs.

4. Station Renovation Work At Shinjuku Station, as part of the "Shinjuku Grand Terminal Concept" by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Shinjuku Ward, the "Shinjuku Station West Exit Area Development Plan" aims to improve station convenience and safety. This fiscal year, the demolition and new construction of the building directly above the platform will proceed while railway operations continue.
Additionally, at Tsurukawa Station and Fujisawa Station, station buildings will be elevated in conjunction with free passage development projects in cooperation with local governments, improving town circulation and convenience. This fiscal year, construction work for each station building will be carried out, and at Fujisawa Station, escalators and elevators connecting the platform and the elevated station building will begin operation.
