The Romancecar Museum (Location: Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Director: Jiro Yoshikyu), operated by Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd., will hold the "Romancecar Museum 5th Anniversary Week" from Saturday, April 18th to Sunday, April 26th, to commemorate its 5th anniversary on Sunday, April 19th, 2026. When the museum first opened, we started with inconveniences for our customers, such as a complete reservation system due to the impact of the infectious disease. However, supported by the local community and many other customers, we have welcomed over 880,000 visitors to date. As a project to mark the 5th anniversary milestone, we will roll out events where people of all generations can experience the "memories and charms of the Romancecar," including a free trial of an athletic playground where children can move their bodies with absorption, and a special project where you can enjoy coffee inside a train car. On the 26th, we will hold a special event where you can enjoy coffee while riding in the "Super Seat" of the displayed Romancecar RSE (20000 series). Conscious of the connection with the local community, it features a design of "strawberries," which are actively produced in Ebina. On the 26th, the final day of the display, a "Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament" will be held with this headmark as the prize, adding a touch of color to the final day. Also, from the 19th, commemorative cards with the same design as the tapestry created to commemorate the "5th Anniversary" and the "Start of the VSE Exhibition," which is displayed at the 2nd-floor entrance, will be given to the first 5,000 people.
