Radio Osaka will begin broadcasting a new program, "Koetowa," starting Friday, April 3, 2026.

Hosted by announcer Hisanori Yoshida, this program will welcome voice actors as guests to explore the "value of voice" from multiple perspectives.

Believing in the potential of voice and with respect for voice actors, we present this new endeavor that directly confronts the question, "What constitutes a valuable voice?"

First Guest: Yuki Kaji

The first broadcast will feature voice actor Yuki Kaji, known for roles such as Eren Yeager in "Attack on Titan." In addition to in-depth discussions about his thoughts on "voice," a segment scientifically analyzing Mr. Kaji's voice is also planned.

New Program "Koetowa" Exploring the "Value of Voice"

【Program Concept】

Normally, many people casually utter and casually hear "voices." Recently, with AI making it easy to generate voices, we live in a convenient era, but there is definitely something different between a voice generated by AI and a "voice" produced by a human using their body, mind, and emotions. We may unconsciously distinguish "valuable voices."

So, what exactly is the "value of voice"? Is it convenience or emotion, context or pronunciation, natural talent or effort, or something else...? We have planned an experimental program that will delve into the value and potential of "voice" with guests, challenging ourselves to articulate answers to this open-ended question.

The program name "Koetowa" (コエトワ) encompasses the question "Koe to wa?" (What is voice?), the idea that voice has eternal value, and the compound meaning of "Koe to Wa" (Voice and Talk).
