NUCB Undergraduate Admissions (Nisshin City, Aichi Prefecture/Nagoya City) will begin accepting online applications for its General Admissions for the 2027 academic year on July 1 (Wed.). The university's General Admissions emphasizes high school learning, challenges, and future aspirations that cannot be measured by academic tests alone. The program offers nine admission categories tailored to individual experiences and goals, including AO Admissions, English proficiency, specialized curriculum studies, and sports/brass band activities, evaluating diverse personalities and talents.

High school learning is becoming increasingly diverse, with students engaging in inquiry-based learning, extracurricular activities, and pursuing qualifications. NUCB implements General Admissions as a selection system that connects the outcomes of such learning to higher education, creating an environment where students can choose their career paths by leveraging their unique strengths.

Online Application Starts July 1

Online applications for General Admissions begin on July 1 (Wed.). Acceptance announcements will be made sequentially starting November 2 (Mon.), making this the earliest admissions process for deciding one's future path at our university.

Selection Based Solely on "Document Screening" and "Interview"

Selection will be conducted through document screening, which evaluates academic records and extracurricular activities from high school, and individual interviews. Online interviews and interviews conducted at the applicant's high school are also available.

"Nine Admission Categories" to Leverage Your Strengths

We offer the following admission categories based on your future goals and high school experiences:

AO Admissions: Comprehensively evaluates initiatives during high school, such as club activities, volunteer work, and obtaining qualifications.

Tax Accountant/Certified Public Accountant Major Admissions: Selection for students aiming for these professions.

Civil Servant Major Admissions: Selection for students aiming for these professions.

Global Human Resources [Faculty of Global Studies] Admissions: Admissions that utilize English proficiency equivalent to Eiken Pre-2nd Grade or higher.

International Dormitory Scholarship Student Admissions: Supports academically excellent students aiming for growth through life in the international dormitory.

Remote Area Scholarship Student Admissions: Supports academically excellent students from remote areas (Hokkaido, Tohoku, Shikoku, Kyushu, Okinawa).

Specialized High School Admissions: Evaluates knowledge and qualifications learned in commercial high schools, etc.

Sports Admissions: Evaluates experience and achievements cultivated through competitive activities.

Priority Eligibility for "International Dormitory Scholarship"

Successful applicants for General Admissions are prioritized for the non-repayable "International Dormitory Scholarship." Eligible students can reside in the fully furnished international dormitory with monthly costs starting from the 10,000 yen range (up to 480,000 yen annually in scholarships).
