NUCB (Nagoya University of Commerce and Business) (President: Hiroyuki Kurimoto) will hold an "Online Comprehensive and Recommendation-Based Entrance Exam Preparation Course" on July 3, 2026 (Fri) for third-year high school students.

As the number of applicants for comprehensive and school-recommendation-based selection exams increases in recent years, this course will provide easy-to-understand explanations from admissions staff on how to approach statements of purpose and self-promotion, as well as points evaluated in interviews. Since it is held online, participants can join from home or school, allowing them to begin their exam preparation before the summer break.

On the day of the event, current students who were admitted to our university through either the comprehensive or general recommendation-based entrance exams will also speak. They will share their experiences on how they proceeded with their exam studies, created their statements of purpose, what they did to prepare for interviews, and their experiences on the actual exam day. Through their firsthand accounts, which can only be conveyed from a perspective close to that of the applicants, the program is designed to help high school students concretely visualize their own受験 (exam).

Furthermore, faculty and staff who have served as interviewers in actual entrance exams will provide practical explanations on points evaluated in interviews, proper conduct for entering and leaving the room, and tips for responding. A Q&A session will also be held to support each applicant in resolving their questions and anxieties.
