NTT Urban Development Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasu Ikeda; hereinafter “NTT Urban Development”) and its group company, hotel management firm NTT Urban Development Hotel Management Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Junichi Matsumoto; hereinafter “NTT Urban Development Hotel Management”), are pleased to announce the appointment of Yuki Takimura as General Manager for the “Hyatt Centric Sapporo,” scheduled to open in autumn 2026 at the “Urbannet Sapporo Link Tower” (scheduled for completion in June 2026) currently under development in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Furthermore, a hotel pre-opening office has been established in Sapporo.

Hyatt Centric Sapporo will be located on part of the 1st floor and from the 17th to 26th floors of the Urbannet Sapporo Link Tower, marking Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s first entry into Sapporo. The hotel will feature 216 guest rooms (including 9 suites), a restaurant and bar incorporating local ingredients, a fitness facility, and multi-purpose event spaces. The interior design, which evokes the history, culture, and charm of Hokkaido, offers panoramic views of Sapporo city and even Ishikari Bay. Its highly convenient location near the former Hokkaido Government Office building and Odori Park, about a 10-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station (directly connected via underground walkway), adds to its appeal. The hotel's interior design is being handled by BOND DESIGN STUDIO Co., Ltd., a firm known for its extensive work on luxury hotels both domestically and internationally.
