The developers promoting the development of "Uchisaiwaicho 1-Chome District (Uchisaiwaicho 1-Chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as "the District")" have decided on "HIBIYA CROSSPARK" as the district name for the "(Provisional) Uchisaiwaicho 1-Chome District Development Project (hereinafter referred to as "the Project")", and have formulated its logo mark and district concept: "Let's become a place where wind is born." In conjunction with this, we announce the launch of the "HIBIYA CROSSPARK" website and concept movie. "HIBIYA CROSSPARK" Completion Image This project consists of three areas: the North Area, Central Area, and South Area. It is a large-scale mixed-use development, one of the largest in the city center, with a total floor area of approximately 1.1 million square meters, comprising diverse uses such as offices, commercial facilities, and hotels. Towards overall completion, the South Area tower is scheduled to be completed in fiscal year 2028, followed by the NTT Hibiya Tower in the Central Area in fiscal year 2031. ■ District Name "HIBIYA CROSSPARK" Based on the business concept "TOKYO CROSS PARK Concept," this district aims to create a town where the following values are born, serving as a "node" connecting surrounding stations, major city center hubs, and the adjacent Hibiya Park. ・ A town that leverages its scale as one of the largest in the city center with a total floor area of approximately 1.1 million square meters, integrated with Hibiya Park, offering comfort and quality that makes people want to visit. ・ A town that is an extension of daily life, easily accessible, yet offers new discoveries and values not usually encountered with each visit. ・ A town that, as a node connecting major areas of the city center, has multifaceted aspects, where different things and diverse people interact, resonate, and continuously evolve. The coined word "CROSSPARK," combining the two words "CROSS" and "PARK," has been adopted, with each word carrying the following meanings: "CROSS": To be a node where diverse values resonate. To be a district where various people, things, and events resonate and co-create, fostering values such as newness and comfort. "PARK": To enjoy a natural and comfortable time in a space where one can feel the wind. ■ Logo Mark Mindful of the unique character of Hibiya, where the district is located, the design embodies the vision for the district. Based on a shape that captures the spatial characteristics of the district, an impressive design reminiscent of the "日" (sun/day) character in Hibiya has been adopted. The overlapping squares represent a "node," the open space signifies "wind flow," and the green color, inspired by the abundant greenery in the area, expresses "integration with nature." Combining these elements, it is an icon that condenses the features of the district name "HIBIYA CROSSPARK." The font is designed to move lightly, with the hope that visitors will feel the comfort of a gentle breeze. It is located at the junction of Japan's leading business and commercial areas such as Otemachi, Marunouchi, Yurakucho, Ginza, Kasumigaseki, and Shinbashi, and is blessed with greenery and water, adjacent to the Imperial Palace and Hibiya Park. Furthermore, this large district, spanning over approximately 6.5 hectares, houses critical infrastructure facilities such as power and communication that support the central functions of the capital.
