Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuhiro Terada, hereinafter "Tokyu Construction") and NTT Sonority Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President: Hiroshi Sakai, hereinafter "NTT Sonority") have jointly commenced a demonstration experiment aimed at improving the safety management standards and operational efficiency at construction sites through the utilization of voice AI.

In this demonstration experiment, NTT Sonority's newly provided voice AI solution will be introduced to construction sites to verify the efficiency of recording tasks during morning meetings, risk prediction activities, safety briefings for staff, and work coordination between cooperating companies, as well as the advancement of safety management standards at construction sites. This initiative marks the first instance of utilizing NTT Sonority's voice AI in safety activities at construction sites.

[Background and Objectives of the Initiative] The construction industry faces challenges in improving productivity due to an aging workforce, a shortage of young talent, and regulations on working hours. On the other hand, at construction sites, meetings and record management to ensure the safety of workers are crucial processes that cannot be omitted from the perspective of accident prevention. While it is necessary to record the content of discussions during meetings, manual recording can lead to omissions, posing a risk that could potentially lower the quality of safety management. Furthermore, significant time is spent on safety management in daily operations, and there have been calls from the field for improved operational efficiency.

In response to these challenges, Tokyu Construction and NTT Sonority are focusing on the voice recordings from meetings held at construction sites and are working to improve operational efficiency and safety management standards at construction sites using voice AI.

[Details of the Demonstration Experiment] (1) Utilization of Voice AI Solution Provided by NTT Sonority NTT Sonority has contributed to improving productivity in various fields, including construction sites and customer service, through "Voice DX," which utilizes sound technology with devices and software. In this demonstration experiment, a combination of dedicated microphones equipped with noise reduction technology and a new voice utilization solution will be used to verify high-precision voice recording in the high-noise environments characteristic of construction sites. The recorded audio will be automatically transcribed, and generative AI will handle the entire process from summarization and evaluation to report creation. As the first step towards the social implementation of this solution, which converts naturally spoken "voices" at the site into insights and reports, Tokyu Construction's site operations will be optimized with specific settings to verify the automatic generation of practical reports and their usability.

(2) Business Operations Subject to Verification In this demonstration experiment, verification will be conducted on the following four types of site operations: Business Operations Main Verification Content <td colspan="1" rows
