NTT East Corporation (President & CEO: Naoki Shibuya; hereinafter "NTT East") launched the "Local 5G Co-creation Project" (hereinafter "this Project") on November 6, 2023, with the aim of further reducing costs and improving convenience to promote the widespread adoption of Local 5G. Since then, it has been engaged in joint verification with 26 participating companies. *1 In fiscal year 2024, the results of 265 types of interoperability tests between different vendor devices and enhanced security countermeasure tests were published as "Joint Verification Report Ver. 1.0" *2, contributing to the acceleration of Local 5G's social implementation.

Now, as a new achievement in this Project, we have successfully conducted a multi-vendor connection test utilizing RIC *5, as defined by O-RAN ALLIANCE *4, which is the first of its kind in Japan *3 for Local 5G. These results have been compiled and will be published as "Joint Verification Report Ver. 2.0" *6 under the joint names of the participating companies.
