Norwegian Ambassador to Japan and Japanese Ambassador to Norway Visit Our Booth at "H2 & Fuel Cell Expo"

Nippon Steel Trading Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") jointly exhibited with HYSTAR AS of Norway (hereinafter referred to as "HYSTAR") at the "H2 & FC EXPO [Spring] 25th [International] Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Expo" held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 17 (Tuesday) to 19 (Thursday). The Company's booth was visited by Kristin Iglum, Norwegian Ambassador to Japan, and Akira Sugiyama, Japanese Ambassador to Norway. The Company positions HYSTAR, a leading company in PEM water electrolyzers, as a strategic partner. Since its investment in 2023, the Company has strengthened its collaboration through joint exhibitions and additional investments. Currently, as a trading company with exclusive domestic distribution rights, the Company is actively promoting the expansion of sales of HYSTAR's water electrolyzers and stacks. During the visit, employees from the Company and HYSTAR explained the features and cutting-edge technology of PEM water electrolyzers and the business development both companies are pursuing in the Japanese market, deepening understanding of the potential for cooperation in the hydrogen sector between the two countries. This visit by the ambassadors served as a symbolic opportunity to deepen cooperation in the green hydrogen sector between the two nations.
