About JWSC International Snowboard & Skateboard College

JWSC International Snowboard & Skateboard College opened in 1999 and has since produced 5 Winter Olympic athletes and 62 JSBA-certified professional snowboarders. We implement specialized education by experienced instructors in an optimal environment and facility for learning board sports. In the snowboarding field, we implement a practical curriculum centered on on-snow training for about 6 months of the year. To date, we have produced 5 Winter Olympic participating athletes and 62 professional snowboarders. In the skateboarding field, we have an educational partnership with the JSF Japan Skateboarding Federation and have fully equipped a street and park section in the on-campus facility 'JWSC Skateboarding Lab,' providing an environment where students can focus on competition.

In addition, our school has many students who begin to engage in competition seriously after enrolling, and we provide guidance tailored to each individual's level and goals. While acquiring not only improved competitive capabilities but also the practical skills required in the board sports industry, such as industry understanding, self-management, and leadership skills, students can aim to become professional athletes or find employment in the industry.

Furthermore, we plan to open a new department, the 'Board Sports Business Department (3-year program)' in April 2027. In this department, we aim to develop human resources who can play an active role in diverse fields by comprehensively learning the four board sports of snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, and wakeboarding.
