The Department of Health and Sports at Niigata University of Health and Welfare, part of the NSG Group, will hold the "cook & exercise Oyako Genki Studio" for elementary school students and their guardians on July 20, 2026 (Mon/Holiday).

Past event様子

This event combines cooking and exercise, where children will enjoy making lunch, and guardians will enjoy dancing and stretching in a kitchen and gymnasium separated by glass. It was revived last year after a six-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was well-received, so it will be held again this year. We sincerely look forward to your participation.

[Department of Health and Sports]

◆We offer a flexible curriculum that allows students to freely select subjects, focusing on four pillars: "Supporting (Health Medical Science)", "Teaching (Coaching)", "Enjoying (Sports Social Science)", and "Nurturing (Sports Education)", where students can hone their practical and research skills in fields suited to their aptitudes and connect to diverse careers related to sports.

In addition, from the first year, students learn theory and practice in a balanced manner, and through collaboration with the community and extracurricular activities, we cultivate human resources who possess both research and practical skills and can contribute to society.

[Niigata University of Health and Welfare] https://www.nuhw.ac.jp/

It is one of the few comprehensive medical universities in Japan, with 6 faculties and 16 departments studying nursing, medicine, rehabilitation, nutrition, sports, welfare, and medical IT. Maximizing the advantages of being a comprehensive medical university, our university offers practical learning in "team medicine," which is essential in medical settings. We have also established a university-wide systematic support system for qualification acquisition and employment, achieving top-class national examination pass rates and high employment records. Furthermore, leveraging the unique environment of our university, which has sports-related departments, we develop learning that integrates sports with "medicine," "rehabilitation," and "nutrition."
