[International College of Art and Design] Special Lecture on Planning and Presentation Production Using Generative AI in Collaboration with dott Inc.

The International College of Art and Design (A&D) of the NSG Group, in cooperation with dott Inc., held a special lecture for students of the Graphic Design Department on Thursday, April 9, 2026, utilizing generative AI for planning and presentation production.

In this class, students dialogued with generative AI to organize their opinions on the theme of "about the school," practicing everything from planning to creating a draft for a presentation. The aim was to cultivate the ability to not only use AI as a convenient tool but also to deepen one's own ideas and effectively incorporate them into the production process.

In the creative industry and all other business fields, the importance of literacy in correctly understanding and utilizing generative AI is increasing. In response to this societal background, the college, as a vocational school, emphasizes practical learning directly linked to work and promotes education that incorporates the latest technologies.

During the class, students repeatedly asked questions to AI, organizing their thoughts and opinions, and concretizing the direction of their projects. They also worked on creating presentation outlines. The students showed high adaptability and eagerness to learn, immediately applying the AI technology they had just learned to give shape to their unique project proposals.

Participating students commented, "By repeatedly asking questions to AI, I was able to organize my own thoughts and efficiently compile more persuasive plans."

The International College of Art and Design, located in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, is a vocational school that is rooted in the community and is committed to nurturing professional human resources who will be active in the design and creative fields. Moving forward, the college will deepen its collaboration with dott Inc. and actively incorporate the latest technologies, including generative AI, into its education, aiming to produce practical AI-savvy professionals who will lead the next generation of the creative industry.
