■ Award Summary
Wig Category: Grand Prix
Yuki Saito (2nd year, Hair & Makeup Department *1st year at time of award)
Theme: DENTO
Title: Kabuki
◆ Award Comment
I was surprised when I heard the news of the award. This work, titled "Kabuki," a traditional Japanese culture, expresses contemporary genderless society by imagining the hair as an onnagata (female role) and the makeup as an otokogata (male role). I paid close attention to the colors around the face and the details of the makeup.
I want to make the efforts I've made and this result my asset and continue to strive for excellence.

Haruhi Kikuchi (2nd year, Hair & Makeup Department *1st year at time of award)
Theme: Nature
Title: Breeze and Nap
◆ Award Comment
This work expresses a sense of vitality, as if living in the present, and the flow of time through the movement of hair. I paid close attention to fine details, such as using three colors and creating steps to give it an overall soft finish.
I will use this award as encouragement and aim to create even better works.

Asami Takita (2nd year, Hair & Makeup Department *1st year at time of award)
Theme: 🍀Lucky Clover Fairy
Title: "A Transparent Moment Where Luck Lingers"
◆ Award Comment
I created this work with the image of a transparent and fleeting moment where luck lingers. I love clovers, and I was drawn to the meaning of "luck" and the cuteness embedded in four-leaf clovers, so I incorporated them. I made the hair fluffy overall to express fragility.
Through this creation, I rediscovered the joy of expression and will continue to create works that are uniquely me.
