[Osaka Prefecture] 2026 Edition of Deep Tech Startup Commercialization Support Program 'NQ Deep Tech Studio' Launched! Kickoff Event on June 17

MIRACLE SCIENCE INNOVATION Co., Ltd. (Location: Kita-ku, Osaka; Representative Director & CEO: Jun Miyagawa), which promotes 'Open Well-being Innovation' based on science, announced that the 'NQ Deep Tech Studio Consortium*1', consisting of six companies with the company as the representative operator, has been selected to undertake the life science deep tech human resource and startup creation program 'NQ Deep Tech Studio.' This is part of the 'Deep Tech Startup Commercialization Support Project' sponsored by Osaka Prefecture.

Continuing from the previous year, this program provides a PBL (Project Based Learning) entrepreneur development program originating from research seeds accumulated in universities and research institutions, staged at 'Nakanoshima Qross (hereinafter referred to as NQ)*2', an industrialization hub for regenerative and future medicine. It is an entrepreneur-type human resource development program that provides end-to-end support for processes necessary for social implementation, including exploring and verifying needs through medical site observations and interviews with clinicians, prototyping, business plan formulation, and preparation for fundraising.

■ 'NQ Deep Tech Studio' 2026 Expansion Points
In the 2026 edition, an 'Exit Strategy Support Program' will be newly implemented to learn the perspectives of VCs, financial institutions, and business corporations. While learning growth strategies unique to the life science and healthcare fields, such as fundraising, business alliances, licensing, M&A, and IPOs, it supports the construction of practical collaboration hypotheses and business strategies.
In addition, in collaboration with 'MedTech Innovator APAC', one of the world's largest MedTech accelerators, it will strengthen business development and overseas expansion support with an eye on the global market. Through connections with overseas ecosystems and opportunities to challenge global acceleration programs, it will support the global expansion of deep tech originating from NQ.
Diverse players, including business corporations, medical institutions, support organizations, and financial institutions, will participate alongside researchers, students, and startups. Through the formation of a community centered around NQ, it aims to build an ecosystem that continuously creates deep tech startups.

■ June 17: 'NQ Deep Tech Studio 2026 Kickoff Event' to be Held
It will introduce the overall picture of the 2026 edition of 'NQ Deep Tech Studio', which has been further updated from the previous year, and disseminate information on the forefront of deep tech human resource development and social implementation in the future medicine and life science fields.
On the day of the event, experts leading the industrialization of future medicine, medical institutions, universities, and overseas accelerators will take the stage.
They will introduce specific examples from their respective standpoints regarding real issues existing in medical settings, perspectives necessary for the social implementation of research seeds, and business development with an eye on the global market.
In addition, it will explain in detail the newly strengthened 'Exit Strategy and Capital Policy Support' from this fiscal year and the global expansion support in collaboration with 'MedTech Innovator APAC'.
