[Aoyama Wedding Queen Contest 2026] Grand Prix Final Selection to be Held on Tuesday, June 9! A Tiara Worth 30 Million Yen Shines on the Winner!

The NPO Tokyo Wedding Forum (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Toru Nosaka), which aims to spread the wonderfulness of marriage and weddings from Tokyo to the whole country and promote the development and social contribution of the bridal industry, is holding the Aoyama Wedding Queen Contest, where participants will act as navigators for information dissemination. This will be the 9th edition of the contest.

What is the Aoyama Wedding Queen?
The Aoyama Wedding Queen will serve as a navigator for one year from 2026 to 2027, disseminating wedding information together with the Tokyo Wedding Forum. They will participate in model activities, influencer activities, and as show models at events such as dress shows. In the past, the 3rd Aoyama Wedding Queen, Tamami Yoneyama, was selected as the Japan representative for Miss International 2023, and the 4th Aoyama Wedding Queen, Kana Yamaguchi, was selected as the Japan representative for Miss World 2022, demonstrating the contest's track record of producing multiple Japan representatives for the world's three major beauty pageants.

Recruitment began in April. Five Aoyama Wedding Queens for 2026 have been decided, and the Grand Prix winner will be selected at the Bridal Industry Fair held at Tokyo Big Sight on Tuesday, June 9, 2025. This year's theme is "Your Own Wedding." In the final judging, wedding dresses, hair and makeup, and bouquets will be coordinated for each of the five queens. A key highlight this year is that the queen who wins the Grand Prix will wear a special tiara provided by the sponsoring company, NEW ART Co., Ltd., on stage.

A crown named 'Bruges le Rieur' that features 15 diamonds with an 'Ideal Round Brilliant Cut' and a total carat weight of 8.8ct as its main stones. It combines the presence of perfectly polished diamonds with a classic image featuring milgrain detailing. Inspired by Bruges lace, the design features feminine curves evoking the image of a royal garden in bloom.

About the Tokyo Wedding Forum
In the spring of 2023, the NPO Aoyama Wedding Town Forum and the Minato Ward Bridal Regional Cooperation Council merged to establish the NPO Tokyo Wedding Forum. Its goal is to spread the wonderfulness of marriage and weddings from Tokyo to the whole country and promote the development and social contribution of the bridal industry. Leveraging the experience of the Aoyama Wedding Town Forum and the Minato Ward Bridal Regional Cooperation Council, its main activities include the Aoyama Wedding Queen Contest in 2023, and the 'Minato Ward Marriage and Love Support Festa' and 'Tokyo Wedding Collection' held at Tokyo Tower in February 2024 and February 2025. Currently, about 40 companies are members, and around 15 people participate in the monthly regular management committee meetings for information exchange, active discussion, and event planning.
