## Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- First-year university students who entered a Japanese university in April 2026 and are enrolled in a faculty/department in the "agricultural" field.
- This refers to faculties/departments falling under the major category "Agriculture" in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Classification Table of Academic Disciplines" (published April 7, 2026).
- Limited to students enrolled in 4-year undergraduate programs; excludes evening students, distance learning students, and international students.
- Households whose total "taxable income" for Reiwa 7 (2025) falls below the following amounts (please refer to the application guidelines for details):
- 2-person household or less: (Taxable Income) Less than 3,500,000 yen
- 3-person household: (Taxable Income) Less than 4,000,000 yen
- 4-person household: (Taxable Income) Less than 4,500,000 yen
