'A document that gets thoroughly criticized' becomes the strongest weapon!?
This book teaches you how to create a 'tatakidai' that intentionally invites criticism. The more it's criticized, the more discussions advance, and the precision of work improves—no need for flair, no need for intelligence. All that's required is understanding the 'structure of work.' This book is packed with work methods that the author has proven in various settings, from major Japanese corporations to GAFAM.
It's a business book that offers a new, yet seemingly obvious, perspective on how to proceed with work. Many people are expected to think, 'I wish I had read this sooner...'
Author Masahiro Hagiwara's comment:
Thanks to the article that led to my selection for the Creative Award, my second book is now being released.
In this work, in addition to the content of the award-winning article, I introduce the 'Work Structure Equation' that I frequently use when creating drafts and reviewing outputs. My previous work, 'How to Proceed with Work,' and this work, 'How to Create Output,' are the two wheels of working effectively.
This book is useful not only for improving your own productivity but also for leaders and managers who want to create a common language for their teams, so I hope many people will pick it up.
Comment from the editor in charge at Toyo Keizai Inc.:
When I read Mr. Hagiwara's note during the selection committee for the 2024 Creative Award, I was deeply impressed by his task management method using action verbs, and I recommended him on behalf of Toyo Keizai Inc.
From there, I kept consulting Mr. Hagiwara, saying, 'I have so many things to do, but I always freeze in front of my PC for about 30 minutes!' The result is 'The Tatakidai Textbook.'
The incredibly interesting thing about this book is not only how to create a 'good draft' but also how to make it 'thoroughly criticized'! Don't say, 'I don't want to pay money to learn how to get criticized!' Just read Chapter 6. Getting criticized correctly is actually very difficult.
