NOSIGNER Inc. (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Yokohama; Representative Director: Eisuke Tachikawa) held a press conference on June 19, 2026 (Fri.) at Yokohama Marine Tower (Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) to commemorate the introduction of "WOUDIO (Udio)", a multilingual audio guide and tourism DX platform developed by the company.

WOUDIO has been in service as Yokohama Marine Tower's official audio guide, "Yokohama 360°", since June 2, 2026 (Tue.), Yokohama Opening Day. Yokohama Marine Tower is the first facility to adopt WOUDIO. Many members of the press and distinguished guests attended the event, where the service's features and design intentions were introduced through live demonstrations of "Yokohama 360°". NOSIGNER will continue to contribute to the realization of a society that connects to the next generation by promoting the transformation of the tourism industry, which protects and nurtures natural assets and historical cultural properties through the power of design.

▍What is WOUDIO?

WOUDIO is a coined word combining "World" and "Audio". It is a tourism DX platform that delivers the history and culture of facilities and regions to visitors' smartphones in multiple languages. It can be used simply by reading a QR code, with no app download required. It supports up to 18 languages. It connects audio guides, digital tourism maps, disaster prevention information, and donations for cultural preservation on a single platform.

"Yokohama 360°" is the official audio guide for Yokohama Marine Tower, and the first full-scale implementation case of the tourism DX platform "WOUDIO". It offers a new tourism experience that overlays the Yokohama cityscape visible from the observation deck with the history and information tied to those locations. Starting with 20 "questions" set on the observation deck, such as "What kind of ship couldn't pass under that bridge?" for the Bay Bridge and "What lies beneath the lawn?" for Yamashita Park, users can read nearby QR codes to receive deep information about Yokohama, not found in guidebooks, delivered via AI voice guide in 8 languages. Information on various spots visible from the observation deck, including Hikawa Maru, Osanbashi Pier, Red Brick Warehouse, Chinatown, Motomachi, Yamate, and Sankeien Garden, is provided as multilingual audio content.

Leveraging NOSIGNER's long-standing expertise in disaster prevention, it is designed to provide access to evacuation site and hazard information across language barriers during disasters. It serves as a guide to essential information during emergencies.

▍Development Background and Service Description

Service explanation by Eisuke Tachikawa, NOSIGNER

Eisuke Tachikawa of NOSIGNER aims to transform the tourism industry to protect and nurture natural assets and historical cultural properties through the power of design.

As the first step in this practice, a structure was incorporated into the audio guide allowing users to practice their desire to protect and support through donations on the spot. WOUDIO "Yokohama 360°" was provided as part of Yokohama Marine Tower's 65th-anniversary project, a landmark in Yokohama. The service was launched in conjunction with inbound tourism initiatives and Yokohama Opening Day, and this press conference served as a venue to widely disseminate these efforts. Attendees were given an unlimited access code for "Yokohama 360°" as a special benefit.

▍Observation Deck Experience: Event Day and Visitor Reactions

The experience session was well-received, and in a relaxed atmosphere akin to a networking event involving local Yokohama Chinatown stakeholders, interest in Yokohama's history and culture was shared, and it became an event where participants could rediscover Yokohama's charm through experiencing "Yokohama 360°".

▍Future Development

"WOUDIO" was born from the vision that Eisuke Tachikawa, representative of NOSIGNER, has long advocated: "Protecting cultural and natural assets through the power of the tourism industry." Combining the latest generative AI technology with design, it is NOSIGNER's first in-house startup business, developed entirely by Tachikawa himself. The aim is to expand this system to facilities both domestically and internationally, disseminating the history and cultural value of each region in multiple languages. Furthermore, this platform is not limited to tourism guidance; it is equipped with disaster prevention functions that switch to multilingual navigation to the nearest evacuation center during emergencies. Providing cultural dissemination and safety assurance as an integrated service is positioned as an essential requirement for next-generation tourism DX. WOUDIO's mission is to transform the tourism industry from an industry that "consumes places" to an industry that "nurtures places," contributing to the protection and development of the world's natural assets and historical cultural properties.
