The Group promotes Diversity & Inclusion (hereinafter D&I) based on the "Nomura Real Estate Group Diversity & Inclusion Promotion Policy." It also aims to foster awareness within the company and further promote D&I initiatives.

1. About Participation in "Tokyo Pride 2026"

"Tokyo Pride" (Organizer: NPO Tokyo Rainbow Pride) is one of Japan's largest LGBTQ+ events, held since 2012 with the aim of providing a "place" to think about and connect on human rights and diversity with LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies. It was held on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, and our group exhibited a booth for the second time.

Approximately 2,500 people visited our group's booth over the two days. Volunteer employees welcomed visitors, providing a valuable opportunity to discuss initiatives, businesses, and services related to LGBTQ+.

(1) About Our Group's Booth

Our group's booth featured a participatory panel where visitors could place stickers with their answers to the question "What kind of town is a comfortable town for you?" In addition, following last year, we distributed the "LGBTQ+ Homeownership Consideration: My Home Handbook for Realizing Your Own Lifestyle" (hereinafter "This Handbook") and QR codes to view it.

Left and Center: Approximately 2,500 visitors placed stickers on a panel depicting mountains, towns, and the sea, writing "Spaces and services that would be good to have in a town." Original goods inspired by the rainbow were also available.

Right: "My Home Handbook" supports the purchase of condominiums by same-sex partners.

(2) About the "LGBTQ+ Homeownership Consideration: My Home Handbook for Realizing Your Own Lifestyle"

This handbook consolidates information for LGBTQ+ individuals considering purchasing a home, such as information on home loans for same-sex partners and coming out regarding sexuality, to serve as a catalyst for thinking about a future of homeownership.

According to Nomura Real Estate Co., Ltd.'s Residential Business Division, which created the handbook, a survey showed that approximately 48% of sales representatives had served customers who are part of the LGBTQ+ community as of 2024. A dedicated website introducing the handbook has been set up on each property's homepage for the "PROUD" brand, allowing LGBTQ+ individuals to utilize it even before visiting a model room. It was also distributed at the Tokyo Pride venue for the second consecutive year.

2. Our Group's Initiatives

The Nomura Real Estate Group formulated the "Nomura Real Estate Group Diversity & Inclusion Promotion Policy" in 2022 and has identified "D&I" as one of the five materialities to address by 2030. In accordance with this policy, this fiscal year, we conducted e-learning training for all executives of our group for the first time.

In addition to this, we strive to create a workplace environment where all employees, including LGBTQ+ individuals, can work with vitality, authenticity, and peace of mind through ongoing training and regular internal awareness activities utilizing the intranet. Six group companies, including Nomura Real Estate, have introduced a "Partnership System*1," allowing employees in "de facto partnership" and "same-sex partnership" relationships to utilize the same treatment and welfare benefits as legal marriage.

*1: Some systems may not be applicable.

Our group recognizes that efforts towards "LGBTQ+ Inclusion" are directly linked to our business activities.

Participation in Tokyo Pride 2026 is an opportunity to deepen the understanding and empathy of our group's officers and employees, and we will continue to promote D&I with the aim of creating new value.
