(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director and President: Takayuki Unuma), as the project owner and operator, respectively, announce that "bono Sagamiono Shopping Center" (hereinafter referred to as "the facility") located in Minami-ku, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, will undergo its largest-ever renewal this year, marking its 13th anniversary since opening.

1. Overview of this Renewal

This renewal aims to create "a commercial facility closer to the local community and friendly to child-rearing families." It will introduce the largest-scale stores in the Sagamiono area and numerous noteworthy tenants to enhance the visitor experience. Approximately 4,000 sqm within the facility will be refreshed, with about 20 stores opening as new, relocated, or renovated establishments. As the first phase, four stores will open on Friday, June 5, 2026, with the renewal progressing sequentially thereafter.

Through this renewal, the facility aims to cater to the diverse lifestyles of local child-rearing households and others, contributing to the enhancement of local value as an indispensable "community hub" in daily life.

① Strengthening Tenant Composition to Meet the Needs of Families

By introducing tenants that meet the needs of families, the facility will evolve into a commercial complex that caters to a wide range of scenarios, from daily use to weekend family outings.

Key notable stores include:

・"Nishimatsuya," selected as the No. 1 desired retail store in a pre-survey of Bono members with children.

・"Gacha Gacha no Mori," the largest capsule toy specialty store in the area, boasting approximately 670 machines.

・"Workman Colors," a workwear and casual wear specialty store with one of the largest sales floor areas nationwide.

・"GiGO," an amusement facility featuring a "Kids Market" where points earned from playing can be exchanged for snacks and toys.

② New Indoor Free Play Area "bono Kids PARK" on the 4th Floor

In July 2026, an indoor free play area "bono Kids PARK," approximately 160 sqm, will be newly established on the 4th floor, targeting children aged 0 to 6. This facility will feature age-separated zoning with areas for 0-1 year olds and 2-6 year olds, as well as a digital content corner and a picture book corner. This initiative addresses the local issue of insufficient indoor play areas in the Sagamiono area.

Furthermore, based on a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Sagamihara City, collaborations with Sagamiono Library and experiential programs in partnership with faculty and students from Sagami Women's University and its elementary school division are planned, aiming to create opportunities for "learning" and "exchange" centered around the facility.

③ New Multi-functional Baby Room and Renovation of Existing Facilities

Also on the 4th floor, a multi-functional baby room will be newly established in July. The layout is designed to facilitate movement with strollers and ease of nursing/diaper changing, and it is expected to acquire certification as a "Combi Recommended Nursing Room." Additionally, nursing rooms and diaper changing corners on the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th floors will be sequentially renovated, promoting a safe and comfortable environment for customers with children throughout the facility. The 4th-floor baby room and 3rd-floor nursing room will also feature a space for disseminating local child-rearing information in collaboration with Sagamihara City.
