The Shin-Osaka Station South Exit Area Urban Development Council (hereinafter referred to as 'the Council') has formulated the 'Shin-Osaka Station South Exit Area Machizukuri Vision vol.1' (hereinafter referred to as 'the Vision') as a guideline indicating the direction of future urban development.

The Shin-Osaka Station South Exit area (hereinafter referred to as 'the Area') is adjacent to Shin-Osaka Station, a major wide-area transport hub, and possesses high potential to integrate business, tourism, and residential functions. Furthermore, the area around Shin-Osaka Station is expected to develop into a major hub for wide-area transportation due to the development of the Linear Chuo Shinkansen, the Hokuriku Shinkansen, and the Yodogawa Left Bank Line.

In formulating this Vision, since the establishment of the Council in March 2024, we have organized the future image of the town based on diverse opinions and data obtained through continuous workshops and opinion exchange meetings with landowners, as well as social experiments to confirm area characteristics and potential. This Vision is positioned as an 'update-type vision' that will continue to update the desired image of the town and the means to realize that future image in stages.

We will continue the Council's activities and update the contents of this Vision as needed, taking into account new knowledge and changes in the town.

Based on this Vision, the Council will further strengthen cooperation with relevant parties and steadily advance initiatives toward realizing the future image. We will continue to work with landowners and local residents to improve the area's appeal and create vibrancy, and we ask for your continued cooperation.
