Our organization endorses April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day for announcing dreams. This press release is the dream of "NoMaps Asahikawa."
We envision the Asahikawa-Kamikawa region 30 years from now as a "city where people who challenge themselves and those who support them naturally exist."
Where one person's challenge inspires the next, and a circle of support naturally expands.
This is a future where such a cycle is deeply rooted in this region.
NoMaps Asahikawa continues to move towards the realization of this dream, under the theme of "GIFT & Connect Asahikawa ~Gifts Born from Challenges and Connections~."
And we are seeking companies and partners to realize this dream together.
We are committed to creating a future where challenging oneself in this city is no longer "special."
■Challenges Already Underway
NoMaps Asahikawa organized an executive committee composed of volunteers who shared the desire to invigorate the Asahikawa-Kamikawa region. It was first held in 2025, attracting over 500 participants from both within and outside the region, including students and working professionals, fostering dialogue and exchange across generations and positions.
Beyond mere sessions, new connections and seeds of challenges are emerging from the encounters and conversations held there.
Currently, we are also developing a student-led project called "Asahikawa Future 100 Views."
In this initiative, students themselves interview people and companies active in the region, articulating their respective visions for "Asahikawa 30 years from now."
This project, which connects aspirations across generations and fields by depicting 100 different futures from 100 people, has already begun to create a "cycle of challenge and support."

■Future Aimed for in 30 Years
Our goal is that in 30 years,
Asahikawa will be a city where "challenging oneself" is not special, and "supporting someone else's challenge" is commonplace.
There, one challenge will give rise to new challenges, and a circle of support will naturally expand.
If that future is realized, the form of NoMaps Asahikawa may change, and that is fine.
Our ultimate goal is for a "culture of challenge and support" to take root in this region.

■About Co-creation with Companies
This initiative cannot be realized by the region alone.
We believe that by combining it with the knowledge, human resources, and networks of companies, we can create even greater value.
NoMaps Asahikawa offers the following values to companies:
・Opportunities for employees' cross-boundary learning and human resource development
・Acquisition of new perspectives through co-creation with youth
・A practical field for engaging with regional issues
・Balancing CSR/regional contribution with practical learning
In fact, in "Asahikawa Future 100 Views," where students interview local companies and practitioners, dialogue between companies and young people has led to new insights and relationships.
We believe it will be a place where companies can also build relationships that foster new learning and discoveries.
