The Japan Management Association (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Koushuku Takahara) has released the latest information on the program areas for the “Local Government Fair 2026 (30th edition),” to be held at Tokyo Big Sight West Halls 3 and 4 from Wednesday, July 8 to Friday, July 10, 2026. The association has begun releasing an introduction video for the Cabinet Office's Regional Future Strategy Headquarters Secretariat's collaborative project, the “Regional Future Strategy Corner,” while also updating the exhibition content of the Disaster Prevention Information Plaza within the “Residents’ Safety and Security Zone.” Additionally, registration has opened for the area-linked webinar titled “Achieving Future Safety and Security through Digital Technology” (to be held on June 23, free of charge). 1. Regional Future Strategy Corner — Introduction Video Now Available An introduction video has been released for the special collaborative project “Regional Future Strategy Corner,” where officials from both the Cabinet Office's Regional Future Strategy Headquarters Secretariat and the Cabinet Office's Regional Revitalization Promotion Secretariat will gather. Disaster Prevention Information Plaza — Updated Exhibits and On-Site Introduction of “#AdaptNow” Campaign The Disaster Prevention Information Plaza within the “Residents’ Safety and Security Zone” will showcase concrete examples of public-private collaboration and the latest disaster prevention insights from three organizations: the Tokyo Fire Department, the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience, and the National Institute for Environmental Studies. The venue will also offer tastings of delicious disaster-preparedness food and distribute promotional giveaways. Additionally, the climate change adaptation campaign “#AdaptNow,” led by the Center for Climate Change Adaptation at the National Institute for Environmental Studies, will be introduced on-site.
