NOK Corporation (Headquarters: Shiba Daimon, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President, CEO: Masao Tsuru; hereinafter "NOK") will refresh the work uniforms worn at production sites and research facilities for the first time in approximately 40 years, marking its 85th anniversary on July 9, 2026.

The new uniforms, developed under the supervision of creative director Kosaku Sato (SAMURAI), reflect the company's corporate identity (CI) and adopt a unified design across the entire group. Deployment will begin sequentially at domestic facilities from October this year. This refresh aims to enhance employee safety and comfort while strengthening group unity.

The uniform set features a solid navy base, NOK's corporate color, and includes jackets, pants, polo shirts, caps, coveralls, and other items.

The NOK Group has long practiced "Essential Core Manufacturing — manufacturing that supports essential areas of society," leveraging accumulated fundamental research for product development and excelling in high-quality, large-scale, stable production. Through technologies and products serving diverse industries, including automotive, the group underpins the foundations of a prosperous society: "safety" and "comfort."

This refresh aims to create work uniforms that enable employees to work more safely and comfortably. During development, three priorities were established: "ensuring wearer safety," "avoiding impact on product quality," and "enhancing functionality and comfort." To reflect employee feedback, the company collected over 4,300 survey responses from all domestic sites and conducted face-to-face interviews with 170 employees. Additionally, fitting sessions were held at all domestic production sites, and rigorous evaluations by the safety and quality department helped finalize optimal items and specifications. The design also embodies the CI, aiming to strengthen group cohesion.
