The student councils of Kadokawa Dwango Gakuen N High School, S High School, and R High School—collectively known as the "N High Group Student Council"—have launched a full-scale external outreach campaign (corporate sponsorship solicitation and crowdfunding) in preparation for "Jishakusai 2026," scheduled for April 2026. The fundraising target is ¥20 million.

■ Background and Purpose: Moving Beyond a 'Cultural Festival Only for Those Who Can Attend in Person'
"Jishakusai" is a hybrid online-and-in-person cultural festival held once a year jointly by N High School, S High School, and R High School (collectively, the N High Group), as well as N Junior High School (the in-person venue is held within "NicoNico Cho-Kaigi").
As correspondence high schools become an increasingly common choice, we want to change the assumption that "school events are only for those who can come to the physical venue." Because the N High Group has students across Japan and even overseas, we believe that creating a cultural festival where "anyone, from anywhere, can participate and connect as long as they have internet access" represents a new form of school event for the future—and Jishakusai is that new kind of festival, designed to adapt to this change.
The funds raised will be used not only to enhance the in-person venue, but also to cover operational costs for programming at the online venue and to provide financial support helping students attend from distant locations, with the aim of expanding opportunities for connection.
■ Last Year's Results: Students Raised Over ¥11 Million on Their Own
Since 2024, the N High Group Student Council has been conducting student-led external outreach to bring Jishakusai programming to life. At the previous edition, "Jishakusai ZERO" (held in April 2025), students successfully raised a total of over ¥11 million through corporate support and crowdfunding. Using those funds, the following initiatives were realized.
<Key Uses of Funds>
・Expanded budgets for programming
・Transportation support for student staff: travel expense subsidies for approximately 400 students involved in running Jishakusai ZERO's in-person venue
・Free invitation for students from the Noto region: 20 students living in the area around the Noto Peninsula were invited to the Jishakusai ZERO in-person venue free of charge
This year, the campaign has been scaled up further, with a target of ¥20 million.
