Recruitment for "Ship and Ocean Engineering Training" Held as a Webinar

This training will be conducted in a webinar format. Lectures will also be recorded, and participants can view them for a limited period after the course. This can be used for review or to catch up on missed lectures.
Targeting young researchers and engineers who have not received specialized education in ship and ocean engineering at universities, the institute's leading researchers and university professors in related fields will give lectures with the aim of intensively acquiring basic knowledge in the field in a short period.
Holding period: June 22 (Mon) - July 9 (Thu) *Excluding Saturdays and Sundays
Participation method: Participants attend live online lectures (webinar) individually.
Lecture content and instructors:
Subjects: Introduction to Ships, Introduction to Ocean Development, Ship Regulations, Outfitting, Environment, Thermodynamics, Electricity, Fluid Dynamics (Introduction/Application), Hull Resistance, Propulsion Performance, Propulsion Performance Application, Motion (Basic/Application), Material Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Operation, Basic Planning
Instructors: Researchers from the institute and university professors in related fields.
Lecture level: Assumes the level of new engineers who have graduated from science and engineering universities.
