Led by Norio Murakami, former Vice President of Google US headquarters, the new university, "International Professional University of Technology," focusing on "world-connected" technology and entertainment, is scheduled to open in April 2027 (accreditation pending). Collaborating with world-class companies, it aims to produce professionals active domestically and internationally with a global mindset and perspective.
The faculty includes practitioners from leading companies and global corporations such as IBM, Toyota, Nintendo, NTT, Bandai Namco Studios, Capcom. All students will also participate in super long-term internships, acquiring advanced practical and applied skills to meet the needs of future industries and society.
