By acquiring the creativity to envision the future of cities and problem-solving skills, the university will foster human resources capable of playing active global roles, not only finding employment in Japan but also working for Japanese companies overseas. Introduction to Edo Studies, Edo/Tokyo in the International Community, Historical Sociology, Cultural Sociology, History of Media, Methods of Digital Humanities Tourism planning/guide, cultural property protection/regional promotion, history education/publishing, promotion of multicultural coexistence/international exchange, etc. Future City Creation Course Develop the ability to solve various urban issues such as population concentration/decline, declining birthrate and aging population, natural disasters, and infrastructure using the power of digital technology like AI.
